I own a Komondor and a major does not take much but i can't tell you how many ribbons I won being the only dog in a class. it may take longer but it will come. You also need to keep in touch with other people who are showing. Many times people don't show because they "think" there will not be enough for a major then there isn't. With fuel prices high it is all the more important to just all show up at a few shows rather than scattering entries around.
